Colonial Downs

S.W. Rodgers moved 1.5 million cubic yards of earth and placed 200,000 tons of select fill material in preparing the sitework for Colonial Downs, Virginia's only horse racetrack. The 324-acre property, boasting both the largest turf track and second largest dirt track in America, is located midway between Richmond and Williamsburg in New Kent County.
